Ingredients

  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by peeling and chopping your carrot into smaller pieces.
  2. Blend the chopped carrots and frozen banana in a blender on low speed.
  3. Add the rolled oats and almond milk once the carrot and banana are pureed.
  4. Sweeten the mixture with maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  6. Serve the smoothie in a glass and top with optional chopped walnuts and cinnamon.

Notes
