Description

An ooey-gooey, cheesy chicken casserole with Alfredo sauce and crispy tater tots, perfect for cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 12 oz. fettuccine Alfredo sauce
  • 32 oz. frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare your chicken by shredding it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Combine the shredded chicken, fettuccine Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and a healthy pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Spread the chicken and Alfredo mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the chicken mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously on top of the tater tots.
  7. Bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving, then garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Feel free to swap chicken for veggies for a vegetarian version or BBQ sauce for a smoky twist.
