Description

A delightful and crunchy homemade granola packed with oats, almonds, and cranberries, perfect for breakfast or snacking.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups Old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup Almonds, chopped or slivered
  • 1 cup Dried cranberries
  • ½ cup Honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the rolled oats, chopped almonds, and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Combine honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt in a smaller bowl.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well-coated.
  5. Spread the granola mixture evenly on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Add the dried cranberries after baking and let it cool completely.
  7. Store the granola in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute almonds with pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds. For a sweeter version, add dark chocolate chips post-baking.
