Ingredients
- Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets)
- Cream Cheese (8 oz, softened)
- Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup)
- Apples (3 cups, peeled, cored, and sliced)
- Cinnamon (1 tsp)
- Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
- Egg (1)
- Flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a floured surface until about 1/8-inch thick.
- Combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and a bit more sugar in a separate bowl and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Cut the puff pastry into squares or rectangles, roughly 5×5 inches.
- Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture and a generous portion of the apple mix in the center of each pastry.
- Fold each pastry over to form a triangle or rectangle and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with an egg wash and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm with powdered sugar dusting or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfect for gatherings or as a comforting treat.
