Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets)
  • Cream Cheese (8 oz, softened)
  • Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup)
  • Apples (3 cups, peeled, cored, and sliced)
  • Cinnamon (1 tsp)
  • Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
  • Egg (1)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a floured surface until about 1/8-inch thick.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and a bit more sugar in a separate bowl and let sit for 10 minutes.
  5. Cut the puff pastry into squares or rectangles, roughly 5×5 inches.
  6. Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture and a generous portion of the apple mix in the center of each pastry.
  7. Fold each pastry over to form a triangle or rectangle and seal the edges.
  8. Brush the tops with an egg wash and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with powdered sugar dusting or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfect for gatherings or as a comforting treat.
