Ingredients

- 1 cup Strong Brewed Coffee
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 tablespoon Gelatin Powder
- 1 scoop Protein Powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Brew Your Coffee: Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee. Let it cool a bit.
- Dissolve the Gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 2 tablespoons of cold water. Let it bloom for 5–10 minutes.
- Infuse the Cream: In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, sugar, and salt over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Incorporate the Coffee: Add brewed coffee to the pan and stir in the bloomed gelatin until dissolved.
- Add Butter and Vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in unsalted butter and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Protein Powder Time: Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding protein powder. Whisk until smooth.
- Set and Chill: Pour the mixture into serving dishes. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Serve: Enjoy as is or with caramel sauce or whipped cream.
Notes
For a richer flavor, mix in crushed espresso beans or chocolate chips before chilling.
