A dreamy dessert combining coffee and caramel flavors with a protein boost, perfect for any time of the day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Strong Brewed Coffee
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Gelatin Powder
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Brew Your Coffee: Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee. Let it cool a bit.
  2. Dissolve the Gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 2 tablespoons of cold water. Let it bloom for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Infuse the Cream: In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, sugar, and salt over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Incorporate the Coffee: Add brewed coffee to the pan and stir in the bloomed gelatin until dissolved.
  5. Add Butter and Vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in unsalted butter and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  6. Protein Powder Time: Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding protein powder. Whisk until smooth.
  7. Set and Chill: Pour the mixture into serving dishes. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Serve: Enjoy as is or with caramel sauce or whipped cream.

Notes

For a richer flavor, mix in crushed espresso beans or chocolate chips before chilling.
