Ingredients
- Frozen French Fries (1 lb)
- Pickles (1 cup, chopped)
- Ranch Dressing (½ cup)
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese (1 cup)
- Green Onions (2, sliced)
- Cooked Bacon (½ cup, crumbled)
- Sea Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the bag of frozen fries, usually around 425°F (220°C).
- Bake the fries in a single layer on a lined baking sheet until golden brown and crispy, about 20-25 minutes.
- Gather toppings like chopped pickles and sliced green onions while the fries are baking.
- Mix ranch dressing if making homemade by combining mayo, buttermilk, lemon juice, and herbs.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, and crumbled bacon on top of the hot fries.
- Bake again for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Finishing touch: drizzle ranch dressing over hot fries and add green onions with a sprinkle of sea salt and pepper.
Notes
For a vegan option, substitute with vegan cheese and coconut bacon. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven for extra crispiness.
