Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Brussels sprouts by rinsing them under cold water, trimming stem ends, and removing discolored leaves.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic in a large bowl.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer, cut side down.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness until golden brown and tender.
- Finish with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and optional Parmesan cheese.
- Serve topped with toasted nuts or dried cranberries if desired.
