- 1 9-inch Pie Crust
- 4–5 Ripe Tomatoes
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup Green Onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare your pie crust and place it in the fridge.
- Slice the tomatoes and lay them on paper towels with salt to draw out moisture.
- Mix the mayonnaise, shredded cheese, chopped basil, and green onions in a bowl.
- Layer the tomatoes and cheese mixture in the pie crust until all ingredients are used.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
