A delightful summer dessert featuring juicy nectarines and a crunchy cinnamon oat pecan streusel topping.
Ingredients
- Fresh nectarines: About 6 cups sliced (roughly 6-8 nectarines)
- Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
- All-purpose flour: 1 tablespoon
- Rolled oats: 1 cup
- Brown sugar: 1/2 cup, packed
- Chopped pecans: 1 cup
- Unsalted butter: 1/2 cup, melted
- Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and slice your nectarines, removing the pits. Toss them with granulated sugar and flour.
- Pour the nectarines into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, flour, pecans, cinnamon, and salt.
- Drizzle in the melted butter and stir until combined.
- Evenly sprinkle the streusel topping over the nectarines.
- Pop the baking dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Drizzle with caramel sauce for an extra treat.
