Description

A comforting twist on the classic chicken pot pie featuring crispy French fries as the topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bag frozen French fries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix your cooked chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the creamy chicken mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
  5. Arrange your frozen French fries on top of the filling in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until fries are golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  7. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
