Ingredients
- Lasagna noodles
- Ground beef or Italian sausage
- Fresh minced garlic
- Marinara sauce
- Ricotta cheese
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Finely grated Parmesan cheese
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook the noodles: Boil salted water and cook lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil.
- Brown the meat: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add ground beef or sausage, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic: Sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the sauce: Pour marinara sauce into the skillet and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer in the cheese: Mix ricotta cheese with salt and pepper, layer noodles, ricotta, and mozzarella in the skillet.
- Make the garlic butter: Melt butter with garlic and parsley, drizzle over assembled skillet.
- Cover and cook: Lower heat, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted. Uncover for browning, if desired.
- Serve and enjoy: Let cool slightly, serve garnished with parsley.
