Description

A delightful and nutritious dessert that combines fresh figs with protein for a light and satisfying mousse.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Figs, chopped
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 23 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup, to taste
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder (vanilla flavored)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by washing and chopping your fresh figs.
  2. Blend the chopped figs in a blender until smooth.
  3. Mix in the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the honey (or maple syrup) and lemon juice, then blend again.
  5. Stir in the protein powder gradually to avoid clumping.
  6. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Serve topped with reserved fig slices or garnishes of your choice.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use agave syrup instead of honey.
