Instructions

  1. Mix the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Prep the Bread: Cut bread into strips, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide and 4 to 6 inches long.
  3. Heat the Pan: Set a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add unsalted butter.
  4. Soak the Bread: Dip bread strips in the egg mixture for 10-15 seconds on each side.
  5. Cook the Sticks: Place soaked bread sticks in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Dust with Sugar: Remove from skillet, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mix while still warm.
  7. Serve: Plate and serve warm with maple syrup, berries, or whipped cream.

Notes
