Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup Fresh or frozen peas
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve about a cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Sauté the garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the cream: Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  4. Toss in the peas: Add fresh or frozen peas, stir, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  5. Mix in the cheese: Stir in grated Parmesan until melted and creamy. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Combine with pasta: Toss the drained pasta in the skillet until evenly coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot: Plate immediately and garnish with additional cheese or fresh herbs if desired.
