- 8 oz Pasta of your choice
- 1 cup Fresh or frozen peas
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve about a cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Sauté the garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cream: Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Toss in the peas: Add fresh or frozen peas, stir, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Mix in the cheese: Stir in grated Parmesan until melted and creamy. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Combine with pasta: Toss the drained pasta in the skillet until evenly coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot: Plate immediately and garnish with additional cheese or fresh herbs if desired.
