- Optional: Maple syrup or honey, chopped nuts, chopped apples or banana slices
Instructions
- Prepare the Oats: Blend the rolled oats until you get a fine flour-like consistency.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix your milk, grated apple, and egg.
- Combine Both Mixtures: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Heat the Griddle: Preheat your non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Cook the Pancakes: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then flip.
- Finishing Touches: Once golden brown, keep pancakes warm in a low oven while you finish cooking the rest.
