Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: in another bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. Merging the mixtures: gently fold the wet mixture into the dry mixture.
  5. Prepare the cinnamon filling by mixing brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  6. Fill the muffin tin: spoon a tablespoon of batter, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar, and cover with more batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Whip up the cream cheese frosting while muffins cool.
