Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 cloves Garlic, freshly minced
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch thick.
  2. Coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch in a medium bowl.
  3. Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken in a single layer until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Make the sauce by mixing honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and a splash of sesame oil in a bowl.
  6. Combine the cooked chicken with the honey-garlic sauce until well coated, then let it simmer for a minute.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian option.
