- 3 cloves Garlic, freshly minced
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 2 Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch thick.
- Coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch in a medium bowl.
- Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken in a single layer until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Make the sauce by mixing honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and a splash of sesame oil in a bowl.
- Combine the cooked chicken with the honey-garlic sauce until well coated, then let it simmer for a minute.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian option.
