Instructions

  1. Prep the custard mixture by whisking together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Soak each slice of bread in the custard mixture until just coated.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt a tablespoon of butter, adding a drizzle of oil.
  4. Bring on the bread and cook the soaked slices for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
