Description

A delightful twist on the classic baklava, these yogurt jars combine creamy Greek yogurt with crunchy nuts and a drizzle of honey for a healthy yet indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped Walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup sliced Almonds
  • Filo Dough (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the chopped walnuts and sliced almonds on a baking sheet and toast for about 5-7 minutes until fragrant.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Start layering your jars with a scoop of the yogurt mixture and a sprinkle of toasted nuts.
  5. Continue layering yogurt and nuts, aiming for about three layers, with nuts on top.
  6. Drizzle extra honey and sprinkle more nuts before serving.
