A delightful sweet and nutty twist on classic banana bread, infused with maple syrup and crunchy pecans.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×5 inch loaf pan by greasing it with butter or non-stick spray.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla until just combined.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and fold it in gently. Then add the flour and fold until incorporated.
- Fold in the chopped pecans and drizzle in the maple syrup.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Enjoy warm with butter, or spread cream cheese for an indulgent treat. It can also be toasted for added crunch.
