- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Combine your melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Bring your wet mixture into the dry ingredients, folding gently with a spatula.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers look set but slightly soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
