Description

A comforting and delicious blend of ground beef, garlic knots, and cheese, baked to perfection for a delightful weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 package (16 oz) garlic knots
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the beef in a large skillet with olive oil, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; stir for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Combine the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Prepare a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish and spread the beef mixture evenly.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Arrange the garlic knots on top of the beef and cheese mixture.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and knots are golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, consider adding red pepper flakes. You can also experiment with BBQ sauce or add extra veggies.
