- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 package (16 oz) garlic knots
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the beef in a large skillet with olive oil, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Combine the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Prepare a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish and spread the beef mixture evenly.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Arrange the garlic knots on top of the beef and cheese mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and knots are golden brown.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, consider adding red pepper flakes. You can also experiment with BBQ sauce or add extra veggies.
