Description

A comforting dish combining savory meatballs and noodles in a sweet honey garlic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked noodles
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella and cheddar)
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine in a bowl the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs.
  4. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, and a splash of water for the glaze.
  5. Brown the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes.
  6. Spread cooked noodles in a baking dish and place the meatballs on top.
  7. Drizzle the honey garlic glaze over the meatballs.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  9. Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  10. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

This dish is easy to make ahead of time and can be refrigerated before baking.
