- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 cups cooked noodles
- 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella and cheddar)
- Green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine in a bowl the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, and a splash of water for the glaze.
- Brown the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes.
- Spread cooked noodles in a baking dish and place the meatballs on top.
- Drizzle the honey garlic glaze over the meatballs.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
This dish is easy to make ahead of time and can be refrigerated before baking.
