- 1 cup uncooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 can (15 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pepperoni slices
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Sauté the ground beef with oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned.
- Add the marinara sauce and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked rice with the meat and sauce mixture.
- Assemble the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Add pepperoni slices on top.
- Cheese it up by sprinkling shredded mozzarella over everything.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly.
