Ingredients

- 6 Tortillas (Flour or Corn)
- 1 lb Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1 cup Salsa
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- Toppings (Lettuce, Tomatoes, Olives, Avocados, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the meat in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
- Prep a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and lay down a layer of tortillas.
- Layer half of the meat mixture, then half of the cheese, and spread the salsa over the cheese.
- Repeat the layering process with remaining ingredients.
- Finish with a final layer of tortillas and cheese.
- Bake covered with foil for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh toppings and serve.
Notes
Make it ahead of time and refrigerate, then bake from cold, adding a few extra minutes.
