A delightful one-pot pasta dish featuring creamy pesto sauce made with fresh basil, garlic, and parmesan.
Ingredients

- 12 oz Pasta of choice
- 1 cup Fresh basil leaves, packed
- 2–3 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup Pine nuts
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 2 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Instructions
- Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Cook the pasta in a large pot with 2 cups of broth, bringing to a boil and cooking until al dente.
- Blend the fresh basil, garlic, toasted pine nuts, parmesan, cream cheese, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth.
- Combine the pesto sauce with the cooked pasta and reserved broth, simmering on low for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve topped with additional parmesan, pine nuts, and fresh basil.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
