Description

Quick and delicious pita pizza pockets are fun to make and customizable, perfect for lunch, dinner, or a snack.


Ingredients

  • Pita bread
  • Tomato sauce
  • Shredded cheese
  • Pepperoni or your choice of protein
  • Vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach)
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the pita by gently slicing it in half.
  3. Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce inside each pocket.
  4. Layer a sprinkle of shredded cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add your choice of protein and chopped veggies.
  6. Top with a final sprinkle of cheese and a drizzle of olive oil.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
