Description

A refreshing watermelon sorbet perfect for summer days, easy to make with just three ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the watermelon: Start by cutting your watermelon into cubes and removing any seeds if using a seeded variety.
  2. Blend the cubed watermelon, sugar, and lime juice until smooth. Optionally, strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sugar if necessary.
  4. Chill the mixture in a shallow baking dish for 2-3 hours until set.
  5. Scrape the mixture with a fork to aerate it.
  6. Final freeze for another hour until firm.
  7. Serve the sorbet into bowls, garnish with mint, and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with flavor variations like adding berries or mint for a unique twist!
