Instructions
- Rinse 2 cups of short-grain rice under cold water until it runs clear.
- Cook according to package instructions (1:1.25 ratio of rice to water).
- Prepare your fillings while the rice cooks, flaking salmon and chopping pickled plums.
- Moisten your hands with water to prevent sticking after the rice cools for about 10 minutes.
- Take a small handful of rice and press it into your palm to create a small cup.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center and cover it with more rice.

- Roll your rice balls in sesame seeds before serving.
